PCASC & Comité Latino leaders Lolo Cutumay, Andreina Velasco & Shizuko Hashimoto at Sunday's march against the raids
To get involved or volunteer, please email info@pcasc.net
Here is the information about how to make a donation:
Catholic Charities and El Programa Hispano have agreed to open TWO bank accounts to help families affected by the ICE raid.
1) The FIRST account will be a general emergency assistance fund to help families that need food, diapers, or other types of emergency assistance. To donate to the first fund, please write RAID EMERGENCY FUND in the memo line of checks. These emergency funds are available to all families affected by the raids, even if they are not clients of Catholic Charities or live outside El Programa Hispano's normal service area (such as Washington County).
If any of you are working with families that need this type of assistance, please email or call Nathan Teske at El Programa.
2) The SECOND account will be to provide assistance to families that need to pay private attorneys for representation in deportation hearings.
If you know of someone interested in receiving funds through this program, please have their attorney contact Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services.
To donate to the second fund, please write RAID LEGAL FUND in the memo line of checks.
